Our goal was to increase local Foodbank donations with the help of young hands. In exchange for their trip to LocoLanding we asked students to bring as many Foodbank donations as they could – and to get creative about raising their donations!

The program saw 400 students participate bringing over 1500 donations for our local food bank – over 1200 lbs of food!! Teachers agreed that the “Food for Fun” program promoted team work, an awareness of others and a sense of community for all of our Grade 3 students!

We look forward to continuing this annual program!

We are so excited to be holding the 1st Annual Penticton Easter Egg Hunt at LocoLanding! We would like to provide you with as much information before the event as possible so that you are prepared when you arrive.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Arrival times: please arrive between 10:30-10:45 for the Easter Bunny Rally and Dance.
• Event times: the Easter Egg Hunt will start right at 11:00. After this is finished families will move onto the Treasure Hunt and Game Stations.

• Cost: The entire event is free with a minimum $5 donation to Imagine Thailand. LocoLanding is offering specials to all attendees – $4 for hotdog and slush combo and $4 for all activities (excluding go-karts)
• Parking: there is parking along Riverside Drive, Lakeshore Drive, in our LocoLanding parking lot and in the parking lot beside the Skateboard Park.
• Volunteers: We have over 40 volunteers at the event – those not at stations will be wearing bunny ears so you can find them easily should you need any help.
• Recycling: The Easter Egg hunt will have plastic Easter eggs – please recycle these in our dedicated bins before you leave.
• Easter Bunny Photos: Get ready to have your photo taken with our Easter Bunny. All photos will be available for download from our Facebook page so be sure to become fans.
• Thank you: A huge special thank you to Shelley Hunt, Ron & Linda DeMoss and the many volunteers that are working hard to make this event so special for the kids. On Monday,  please introduce yourself and thank them!

MEET AT LOCOLANDING Adventure Park!

Proceeds from this event will be going specifically to a Water Filtration Project in Thailand. Bring the kids to hunt for eggs while helping the children of Thailand have access to clean water!
